As a Spa Attendant , you’re not just ensuring a clean and relaxing spa environment – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Responsibilities Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day: Understand and abide by Waldorf Astoria Spa & Fitness policy and procedures. Greets patrons with a friendly and sincere welcome upon arrival. Listens and addresses guests requests and responds with appropriate action and provides accurate information. Communicates guest complaints to Spa Management. Daily set up of food and beverage items and equipment and replenishing and maintaining Spa pantry and snack display. Inventory and stock all guest supplies and linens. Maintains safety and sanitation standards. Responsible for all aspects of cleaning the spa facility throughout the day, including, but not limited to: Thoroughly clean sinks, mirrors, glass, countertops, walls, vents, windowsills, equipment, and floors throughout the spa/fitness centre. Pick-up and return loose equipment to designated area throughout the day. Mop, scrub, wax, shampoo and spot clean carpeting and floors. Empty trashcans and dispose bulk garbage in designated bins throughout the day. Clean and maintain all fixtures, woodwork, walls, and windows, as well as additional parking lot clean-up, as needed. Vacuum daily and as needed throughout the day, moving furniture and equipment, as needed to insure thoroughness. Dispose of all soiled laundry in designated bins throughout the day. Ensure all fixtures and equipment are in excellent working order and report any deficiencies. Attend all mandatory meetings, as directed by Spa Manager. Provide customer service to guests, including information about hotel services, activities, and directing guests to other areas of the hotel. Assist guests in their needs related to the pool & fitness area Provide tour of the Spa, pool, and fitness facilities Respond to guest requests, comments, and concerns in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness of general pool & fitness area including emptying used pool towel bins, organizing pool / fitness furniture, collecting towels, and neatly arranging the pool towel storage shelves Instruct and direct guests in correct usage of all facilities and equipment Confirm guest registration prior to issuing Hotel property Follow health & safety procedures including sanitization of all areas and equipment Monitor product inventory to minimize the loss of hotel property Raise maintenance issues via property reporting system and to direct supervisors Monthly inventory counts including products, equipment, and towels Covering reception desks when necessary or requested by supervisors and management Providing lists of items required for ordering on weekly basis Qualifications What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, Our Core Values Define What It Takes To Succeed Here And Guide The Qualities We Look For In Every Team Member A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality .
